Nurrohman Wijaya, Ph.D., a faculty member of the School of Architecture, Planning and Policy Development (SAPPK) ITB and Head of the Sub-Directorate of Education Monitoring and Evaluation at the ITB Directorate of Education, participated in the Technical Guidance Session for LLDIKTI Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Verifiers. The hybrid session was held on August 19–20, 2026, at Universitas Pasundan in Bandung and was organized by the Directorate General of Higher Education. The event brought together RPL verifiers from LLDIKTI Regions I–XVII to strengthen their understanding of RPL policies, assessment mechanisms, and quality assurance.
RPL recognizes learning outcomes acquired through formal, non-formal, and informal education, as well as work experience, enabling individuals to pursue further formal education or obtain recognition of specific qualifications. During the session, participants reviewed RPL implementation practices and examined procedures for credit transfer and credit acquisition. They conducted practical exercises in document verification and validation—training aimed at strengthening consistency and quality assurance in RPL implementation across Indonesian higher education institutions.
As an assigned verifier for LLDIKTI Region IV, Nurrohman’s participation reflects ITB’s commitment to strengthening academic quality assurance and supporting transparent, flexible, and accountable pathways for recognition of prior learning.
