Introduction

Gedung Labtek V

The School was established on 29 August 2005 by a decree from Rector of ITB (No. 222/2005) which intends to re-organize academic units of ITB, adding the total numbers of faculty / school from 7 (seven) to 11 (eleven). However, the constituents of the school are not new, as it draws all academic programs and resources from 2 (two) existing departments namely: Architecture, established in 1950 and Urban and Regional Planning, established in 1959 previously under the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning, and 2 (two) existing academic programs (namely: Development Studies and Transportation ) previously under the Faculty of Industrial Engineering.

The newly established school begins to operate as an academic implementation
the unit responsible for education, research and community service as of January 1, 2006, held 11 (eleven) academic programs ranging from undergraduate to doctoral programs, 8 (eight) research groups, 82 (eighty two) lecturers, 44 ( forty four) support staff, and about 1410 students.

Since 2016 there were 12 (twelve) academic programs ranging from undergraduate to doctoral program, 9 (nine) research groups, 118 (one hundred and twelve) faculty members, 44 (fifty seven) supporting staffs, and ca. Our student body is currently 1524 undergraduate and graduate students (Jan 2019).

Menjadi institusi yang Inklusif, Adaptif, dan Fleksibel dalam penyelesaian masalah bangsa dan pencapaian reputasi internasional.

Visi SAPPK 2024 mencerminkan “beyond boundaries” yang dimaksudkan dengan bertujuan agar visi ini dapat diingat dengan mudah oleh civitas akademika SAPPK ITB, termasuk didalamnya mahasiswa yang merupakan generasi millennial dan juga stakeholder terbesar di SAPPK.

 

MISSION

Menciptakan, berbagi, dan menerapkan ilmu dalam bidang perancangan, perencanaan dan pengembangan kebijakan lingkungan binaan, serta menghasilkan sumber daya insani yang unggul dalam bidang tersebut untuk menjadikan Indonesia dan dunia lebih baik.

The mission is elaborated in the SAPPK Objectives, as follows:

  1. Mewujudkan SAPPK sebagai institusi yang berkontribusi dalam penyelesaian masalah bangsa dan pencapaian reputasi internasional dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan, penelitian, dan pengabdian masyarakat dalam bidang perancangan, perencanaan dan pengembangan kebijakan lingkungan binaan
  2. Meningkatkan kemampuan berkolaborasi secara internal dan eksternal dalam mengahsilkan karya yang berkontribusi pada penyelesaian masalah bangsa dan pencapaian reputasi internasional.
  3. Develop a good governance system by utilizing technology and information systems.
