Selamat kepada Tim dari Arsitektur ITB atas nama: Amira Aulia – 15219038 dan Ahmad Zakki Davin – 15219016 yang telah berhasil memperoleh Juara 1 dalam ajang SCREEN 7.0 National Student Architecture Design Competition 2023 yang diselenggarakan oleh Himpunan Mahasiswa Arsitektur Universitas Gunadharma.

Mengambil tema “Urban Cove” karya Amira dan Zakki meredefinisi ruang-ruang terbuka urban di masa depan dengqan jalan mengusulkan nilai-nilai tambah pada ruang sosial kota berupa inklusivitas, konektor sosial, rekreasional, kesehatan dan kebugaran dengan potensi alam sebagai katalisator aktivitas publik.

Narasi konsep desain sebagai berikut:
Urban’s Cove aims to envision the future urban’s public space. The site was located amid the commercial central district of Summarecon. A brief analysis brought us to a point where a public space needed to be designed to complete but not compete with the surrounding area. There was a great opportunity for centrality but lost in the development process. A great platform, but underused and felt unloved by the people.

The brief asked us to implement public space and improve the balance of Summarecon. The site needs a better idea rather than a good design for us. The idea is to help provide an identity and insight to the community about the needs of this public space itself, especially when the site has a bigger potential to be the heart of the community in the Summarecon area. Implementing natural arrangements absent from urban networks for a long time is one of the opportunities and offer them back to the public, not to be thrown away and eliminated. The choice of cove appears with generative elements such as urban and cove with the same elements that form a space.
