Student Exchange

Scheme 1: Single Degree Scheme
Student Exchange in One Semester (6th Semester)
Student exchange program is mandatory for IUP in Architecture to get international experience of critical and creative design thinking and also engaging in a vibrant learning process of our university partners. Students are required to take exchange program in their 6th Semester (one semester).
1.Students are responsible for all study expenses for student exchange program
2.There are limited slots and different academic requirement for each university partner
3.No degree from the partner university
4.Course plan in university partner must be approved by Academic Advisor for equivalency to curriculum in ITB (must be equivalent to 18 credit hours)
Scheme 2: Double Degree Scheme*
Student Exchange in Three Semesters (6th 8th Semester)
Currently the opportunity for Double Degree program is only offered to the University of Queensland (UQ), Brisbane, Australia. Students are required to take exchange program in their 6th Semester to 8th Semester (three semesters)
1.Students are responsible for all study expenses for Double Degree program
2.Degree from UQ is Bachelor of Architecture Design (B.Arch.Des).
3.Course plan in university partner must be following the agreement between ITB and UQ to fulfill curriculum requirements from both universities

Admission

The students’ admission to the International Undergraduate Program is conducted through a selection system carried out by ITB.
Requirements:
- Graduated from High School/equivalent, both from local or abroad schools, no longer than three years at the date of admission (e.g., 2026 Admission is for high school graduates of 2024, 2025, and 2026)
- Have a maximum age of 22 years oldby 1 August 2026.
- Never been registered as an ITB undergraduate program student.
- Have high academic achievement during high school level/equivalent, as evidenced by the value of report cards/academic transcripts per semester, from semester 1 to semester 5
- Show good academic achievement, by taking the ITB Academic Qualification (AQ) Test
- Show good English language competency, by
Submit general IELTS test result, with minimum score of 5.5, or
Submit iBT TOEFL test result, with minimum score of 61, or
Taking the ITB English Language Qualification (ELQ) Test - Pay the selection fees. The fees cover the costs of selection and test, including:
Account Registration fee of IDR 1,500,000
ITB AQ Test fee of IDR 1,250,000
ITB ELQ Test fee of IDR 1,250,000 (optional, can be replace by IELTS certificate or iBT TOEFL certificate)
