The Doctor of Transportation program offers specialized academic endeavors in the field of transportation planning and management. The aim of the program is to develop independent research skills and the ability to relate specific research topics to a broad framework of knowledge in relevant disciplinary areas.

Graduates with a Doctor of Transportation (Dr.) degree are qualified to work as transportation researchers for government agencies, planning consultants, property developers, research institutions, and non-governmental organizations.

Student Exchange

Starting in 2022, the Transportation Doctoral Study Program collaborates with Groningen University, the Netherlands for the International Student Exchange program. This program is intended for doctoral students to gain additional experience conducting research enrichment at partner universities, conducting scientific discussions with international professors and colleagues.
