Program Doktor Arsitektur menawarkan upaya akademis khusus di bidang desain arsitektur, teknologi bangunan, perumahan dan pemukiman manusia, dan sejarah arsitektur, teori dan kritik. Tujuan dari program ini adalah untuk mengembangkan keterampilan penelitian independen dan kemampuan untuk menghubungkan topik penelitian tertentu dengan kerangka pengetahuan yang luas di bidang disiplin yang relevan.

Doctoral candidates develop the capacity to formulate significant problems; to master appropriate conceptual and methodological skills; and to carry out the original program of research.

Mahasiswa akan ditugaskan komite supervisi akademik dengan siapa mereka akan bekerja untuk melanjutkan penelitian mereka. Semua mahasiswa wajib mengikuti ujian kualifikasi sebelum memulai penelitian untuk disertasi doktor. Mahasiswa yang telah memperoleh status calon doktor dan menyelesaikan disertasinya harus lulus ujian akhir dan disertasinya disetujui oleh panitia ujian.

Scholarships and Fee Waivers

As a postgraduate student of ITB, there are several scholarship schemes that can be applied for, of course with conditions that are generally related to economics and academic performance. Post-graduate students can apply for scholarships from Sekolah Pasca Sarjana ITB or from other institutions such as: LPDP, BPI, or others.
