In course of the Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility Program Award, Prof. Widjaja Martokusumo (Dean of SAPPD) was invited to give a series of lecture at Faculty of Architecture, VGTU, di kota Vilnius, Lithuania. The lectures were organized by Prof. Dr. Jūratė Jurevičienė (member of Heritage Commission Lithuanian National Commission for Cultural Heritage). Besides lectures, it was scheduled several meetings as follow: the first meeting was with Assoc. Prof. Liutauras Nekrošius PhD (Dean of the Faculty of Architecture VGTU), Arch. Dr. Eglê Bazaraitê (Vice Dean) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Edita Riaubienê (Head of Department of Architectural Fundamentals). Secondly, during the visit the Dean of SAPPD also met the Vice-Director of International Relations Office VGTU Ms. Aleksandra Sokolova. The meeting was also attended by Ms. Erika Danienê (Head/Erasmus+ International Coordinator), and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arūnas Jaras (Department of Applied Mechanics, Faculty of Civil Engineering). Several possibilities of academic cooperation had been discussed, including student and faculty exchange, joint-research and jointly-organized workshop, and the options of financial schemes.
The dean’s visit was also part of the partnership between ITB and VGTU, which has been initiated through both International Relation Offices, and has grown stronger. Prior to this visit, Assoc. Prof. A. Jaras from the Faculty Civil Engineering VGTU) had visited the Schll of Archotecture, Planning and Policy Development and Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering ITB.
