Dean of School Architecture Planning and Policy Development (SAPPD) ITB, Prof. Widjaja Martokusumo, was invited to visit to University of Queensland (UQ), Brisbane to discuss possibilities on academic cooperation on 25 September 2019 between ITB and UQ. This courtesy visit was a response to the visit of the Queensland’s delegation to several faculties at ITB in August 2019, including to School Architecture Planning and Policy Development. A meeting with at the faculty at the St. Lucia campus was attended by Prof. Cameron Bruhn, Head of the School of Architecture at the University of Queensland, senior lecturer Dr. Manu B. Sobti, and was followed by lunch with the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Liza O’Moore, Senior Lecturer and Associate Dean Academic (EAIT). Several issues on possible cooperation have been discussed, such as joint studio design, participation of UQ’s student in the SAPPD Summer Camp program and faculty exchange and guest/public lecture at both faculties. A campus tour was also organized after the faculty meeting, led by Ms. Gladys Yong, from the International Office the University of Queensland.
