Research has been an inherent part of the academic culture. Yet, while students have been taught rigorously about conducting research, the ethical part does not get similar attention. What is the importance of conducting ethical research? How and why should we put more effort into ensuring the research is ethical? What and who would be possibly benefited from ethical research? What threat is posed if the research we conduct is considered unethical?

A/Prof. Jennifer Day will elaborate on this topic in her upcoming lecture. This lecture is open to all SAPPD students. It is compulsory for students of AR5151 and AR6113, and is recommended for students of AR6095, AR7101 and AR7102.

This guest lecture is part of the collaboration between the School of Architecture, Planning and Policy Development (SAPPD), ITB and the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning (ABP), The University of Melbourne
