The Directorate for Admission Management and Education Partnership, ITB, held 2017 Education Open House on Saturday and Sunday, 16 and 17 December 2017 to accommodate the need for introducing to the public various programs at ITB ranging from science, technology, art and humanities. Multi campus concept (Ganesha, Jatinangor, Cirebon campuses) with similar education standard adopted by ITB became important information that was integrated as part of the event.
ITB West and East Halls became the venue for the 2017 Education Open House which carried a combination of event method: information dissemination through direct presentation and booth. Each faculty/school was given 45 minutes – 1 hour for direct presentation and question and answer session to explain each program study within the school/faculty and the prospect of work for the graduates.
The SAPPD booth is one of the booths that attracted visitors’ attention because it was designed uniquely with its own characteristic, i.e. applying bamboo structure for its roof. The visitors’ enthusiasm could be seen not only by the number of visitors visited the booth, but also during the direct presentation and question and answer session, both in West Hall (Saturday, started at 13:00 Western Indonesia Time) and Sunday (East Hall, started at 11:00 Western Indonesia Time).
It is expected that this kind of Education Open House can be held routinely in the coming years, particularly in December. Through this event, those who are interested in studying at ITB could obtain in-depth information about ITB and have the opportunity to take a tour through ITB campus.
