PL-6101 class: Community-based Mitigation and Adaptation invited Dr.Ir.Teguh Eko Paripurno as guest lecture to present his lecture with the title: ‘Community-Based Disaster Risk Mitigation: Reflection on 2014 Mt. Kelud Eruption’ to students of Master Program in Regional and City Planning, ITB. The lecture was held on Tuesday, 21 November 2017 from 11:00 – 13:00 at Seminar Room, 2nd floor of Labtek IXA Sugijanto Soegijoko Building, Jl. Ganesha 10, Bandung.
Dr.Ir.Teguh Eko Paripurno, or widely known as ‘Kang Ete’ has become the driving force of the community on disaster since the 1990s. His hard work in raising public awareness on disaster risk mitigation has resulted in national and international awards. The students obtained enlightenment and illustration from his presentation on community as the collector of local knowledge on disaster.
